Another year has gone past and it’s that time of the year when you look back, take stock and then gear yourself up for another grueling and challenging year.

Our juniors just didn’t believe in resting on their laurels. Just to jog everyone’s memory, Dhruv House(primary) are the permanent keepers of the sports and Literal Trophies on account of having it won three years in a row. Well, it just whets their appetite for more! This year, they won the Sports Trophy, the Literary Trophy, the cultural trophy and the Champions Trophy – the awesome haul left us gasping! And there’s more – Saras Of V- D was adjudged the Best Athlete.

On a sobering note after, that, it’s not exactly been a memorable year on the Senior’s front. Aishwarya Kumar, a sterling Dhruvite was part of the Prefectorial board in the capacity of vice captain, Discipline committee. However, we treat this somewhat lackluster year as just an aberration in our fabulous wining streak. With new session ahead, we are pulling up your socks and we promise that this year has been the lull before and explosive performance next year. Stay riveted!

Eklavians, with their House motto ‘Perseverance Ensure Success’ can truly said to have in them determination to prove themselves with unmatched spirits, a quality which they have imbibed in themselves from ‘Eklavya’ who can be said to be a perfect example of a discipline, completely dedicated to his guru. Eklavyans have brought laurels to the House, both in academics and in co-curricular activities.

Three Eklavyans have done the House proud by holding school posts.

1. Shreya Dhar: Head Girl
2. Kshitij Batla: Vice Captain-Discipline (Boys)
3. Vidhi: Captain-Discipline (Girls)

In the junior sections Vibhuti Kapila (best-dancer), Anmol (best orator), Shambhavi Mishra (best athlete) and Rahul Mangik (literal activities), were star performers of the year. In the middle section, there have been outstanding performances by Rakshit Rastogi, Akash Aggrwal and varsha Sivram who participated in ‘ANUVARAT’ music competition held at the national level and secured the third position in CBSE North Zone National Tournament (Badminton), while Kushang Mishra secured the 3rd position in badminton at the district level.

Another feather in the cap of  the Eklavyans was the ‘Sports Trophy’ which was won by the Senior Section of the House.

Yet another ‘star performer of the year was ‘Archit Jain’, who won a gold medal in the Lawn Tennis competition held in the 54th National School games organized by Dte of Education. He also received a scholarship from the school and was also adjudged the best athlete’ on Sports Day.
The best athletes of the year are

Group (10th to 12th) – Ahida Mariyu

The students have brought laurels not only to the house but also to the school. We are sure, that with our sustained efforts we will leave no stone unturned in order to achieve unparalleled success in the coming years also, keeping in mind, our House Motto – ‘Perseverance Ensures Success’.

For the second successive year, the prahladians had the honor of having the Head Boy from amongst their ranks.
V.Ananth graced this post by showing true prahladian spirit of leadership. The house is also proud of Rahul C. who was appointed Sports Captain this year.
The spirited students of Prahalad House have shown unerring support and active participation in all the activities be it academice, sports or co-curricular activities. Our house student proved their worth in sports by bagging ‘Champions Trophy’ this year once again and the house is privileged to be the Best house in ‘Sports and Atheletic’ events. Our house also claimed the March Past Trophy(jr). Sarthak Arya was awarded the best athelete.

In academics as well, Vasudha, X-E followed the Prahaladian tradition of excelling and topping AISSE and bagged the Best Scholar Award this year. Oozing with buoyant energy and self-confidence, various students from our house represented our school at the state level and have been a part of contribution to the glory and laurels brought to our school to our school. The sincere and selfless efforts by the prefectorial board members under the able guidance and support of teachers encouraged our house to achieve success in all arenas of activity.
Prahladians are all geared up with full spirit and enthusiasm to be the best in all walks of life in coming years also.

Sincerity, selfless service and dedication are the qualities that the Shravanities have imbedded in themselves following the example of Shravan Kumar, the famous character in the epic ‘Ramayana’.

We look back with pride and satisfaction  at our achievements and success and use our failures as stepping  stones to seek greater heights. As we hone and perfect our skills and knowledge, we also learn to use them with humility and social consciousness. “As a twig is bent, so the tree shall grow”. It is our tutors who have left no stone unturned in honing the talent of the students, moulding their character and personality and showing them the right direction which leads them to their final destination. Through their unerring zeal and active participation in all activities, be it sports, academics or co-curricular, our students have brought laurels to the house.

Result for some inter house activities are:
We achieved the 1st position in the following activities Table Tennis, Basket ball, Science symposium, Chess, Jewellery designing, Fabric painting, Mimicry, Ad-Zap, Carrom, Hindi story Discussion and Hindi Recitation.

We achieved the 2nd position in Maths Presentation, Duet song, Pot painting, Solo song, News reading, Rangoli, Web Designing and French song.

We are proud to report that the Best Athelete of the year 2008 for classes 10th-12th is Sheryash Lalit of XI-D. We have once again bagged the Champion House Trohpy.
